10 years later....

Today Lee and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary! WOW! So crazy that much time has gone by since I married my highschool sweetheart. Lee and I started dating when we were both 17 yrs old, and always knew that we would get married. We got married when we were 20. A few things we have done since our big day, In the last 10 years we have lived in 7 different houses and apartments, We have been in the house we have now for almost 4 years. So those first few years we moved A LOT, of course I think we had a lot less junk then than we do now, maybe because we had to go through it all so often, if you're wondering I really do not enjoy moving, at all. So hopefully we can stay here a while longer. We have worked a combined total of 5 different jobs, we are a little better at keeping a job than we are at keeping an address. Owned 6 vehicles (I think) 2 cars and the rest have been trucks 1 Ford and the rest Chevy's so funny because all of the trucks Lee's had since we got married have been red, with the exception of the one he has now. We have been out of the country once, to Mexico. Camping more times than I could possibly count. We've had 2 dogs, 1 at a time, and hopefully we can get another one soon, I always loved having a dog growing up and I want to get one while our children are still little. Which brings us to our greatest accomplishment, our two beautiful children, we had Ali when I was 25 Lee 26, and Brody when we were both 27.

I would just like to say how great my husband is, I really do feel like we are supposed to be together. He has been such a possitive influence on my life, from the time we met, and even still he keeps me grounded (when things get hard for me I tend to get unintentionally self destructive) He is my rock. I never thought I could love him more than I did the day we got married, but now 10 years later, I can honestly say that I do love him more now than I ever have before and I am very much looking forward to what the rest of our life together brings. I love the father he is to our children and the man he is to me. One of the things that Lee has always done (that is making me smile right now just thinking about it) is he will never let me stay mad at him, no matter what is going on, he can always get me to laugh about it! I love that he does that, cause really who wants to stay mad anyway ;)

This year we decided not to celebrate the way we have in the past, since we feel like 10 years is a BIG deal we thought we would something BIG for our annivesary, so we are taking an Alaskan Cruise!! Of course you can't do that this time of year so we are going to go in the summer, with my brother Shawn and his wife Nikki, who are also going to be celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.

Happy Anniversary, I Love You!!
