Happy Birthday Ali! Ali turned 4 a couple days ago. She is such a great little girl! Ali is always a great helper and big sister, she is so sweet, every day she tells me how much she loves me and is very generous with hugs and kisses! She also just finished her first year of pre-school, which she loved every day of.

On her birthday we had lots of friends and family over to celebrate with a flag cake which she helped me make. She had a blast running around with all of her friends and cousins. The morning after her birthday I was talking to her and I told how she is so big now she is 4 yrs old. She said "I know Mom I'm a big girl princess 4 years old!" So that's what we call her now, big girl princess 4 years old.

She loves riding her new bike and she has had so much fun with her new toys that I have really enjoyed the last couple of days of her and Brody playing so good! Although I really don't like polly pocket shoes!

to text or not to text

So...Today Ali decided she wanted to go to Callie's and I explained to her that is not going to be possible (since Callie decided to move herself half way across the country!) So she said that would like to sleep at grandma's. She looked at me and said "can I tex mess your mom?" I said "you want to take your shoes to my mom?" "NOOO!" she said (as she rolled her eyes) "I want to tex mess her!" as she pointed to my phone. Oh now I get it! My 3 year old has decided she is ready to start texting!!

A new room...

Brody and Ali are getting so big. Callie and I recently replaced Brody's crib with his "Big boy bed" and raised Ali's bed too, it is "So Tall" just like her. The kids were loving it. They "helped" and then they jumped on their "new" beds to brake them in.

Since I moved Brody into Ali's room, I decided to make it a little bit boy, and not all girl. So he has a little space of his own. I put up his curtain on the window by his bed, and also hung some cowboy decorations up above his bed.

Time for a change

Well I guess Lee couldn't take it any longer! So he gave Brody a haircut. These are the before and after pictures. Don't pay attention to the glitter in his hair in the after picture, Bennie, Stevie and Ali combed glitter gel in his hair before I got a picture. I really loved his hair long and shaggy!! But I must admit it turned out really cute! (with a little help from Madi) He looks so much older all of a sudden.

Brody Man!

Wow! My little guy just turned 2!!(well his B-day was about a month ago oops!) If you know my Brody then I don't have to tell you how crazy he is. He is truly WILD! He is such a fun little boy and we all love him sooo much. These are some of my favorite things about Brody; When he wakes up in the morning he always know what he wants for breakfast, as soon as I open his door he tells me what he is in the mood for(yesterday he wanted a hotdog.) Instead of saying yes to something he says YETS!! He is ALWAYS in a good mood, even if he's sick and wakes up in the middle of the night he is still happy. In this picture he is using his 2 favorite birthday gifts, his "unting at" (hunting hat)and his "ar-mama-ca" (harmonica.) He is so much fun and I am so glad that he is part of our family!

Fancy girls!

Erin was invited to a Fancy Nancy birthday party and when it was over she came to my house with all of her dress-ups and Erin helped Ali get all fancy!

They had so much fun putting clips in their hair!

Vacation

So, I know it's been ages since I have posted any thing new on my blog so if anyone is still bothering to check SURPRISE!

My Mom and I went to Virginia to visit Callie and Richard. I really had a great time! The morning after we arrived we drove to Washington D.C. to see all the sites. Richard has been twice before, but it was a first for the rest of us. After checking into our hotel we walked to "the mall" to see all the sites and take pictures. We did that all day! I don't think I could have taken another step by the time we finally got back to our hotel.

The next day we took a tour bus around the city and saw all the main attractions like Georgetown and Arlington Cemetery and got back to Callie's late that night.

In Virginia beach we went to the Aquarium and then to the Beach. It was a much needed vacation. Thank You Callie and Richard for touring us all over!
